Now hiring: Food counter attendant at Dairy Queen Grill & Chill Callingwood in Edmonton, AB. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment - Part time leading to full time position. Flexible availability required for: Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, To be determined.

Job Description

• The candidate must bring clean dishes, flatware, and other items to serving areas and set up tables accordingly.
• The candidate must clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
• The candidate must sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand.
• The candidate must package take-out food.
• The candidate must portion and wrap foods.
• The candidate must prepare, heat, and finish simple food items.
• The candidate must serve customers at counters or buffet tables.
• The candidate must stock refrigerators and salad bars.
• The candidate must take customers’ orders.
• The candidate must clean and sanitize kitchens, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
• The candidate must remove kitchen garbage and trash.
• The candidate must sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
• The candidate must wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
