Food counter attendant

TACO TIME ( Penticton, BC) is currently looking for a skilled Food counter attendant. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. Flexible availability required for: Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
• The candidate must place dishes in storage areas.
• The candidate must keep records of the quantities of food used.
• The candidate must package take-out food.
• The candidate must portion and wrap foods.
• The candidate must prepare, heat, and finish simple food items.
• The candidate must serve customers at counters or buffet tables.
• The candidate must stock refrigerators and salad bars.
• The candidate must take customers’ orders.
• The candidate must use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs.
• The candidate must receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must have the ability to multitask.
• The candidate should be required to perform repetitive tasks frequently.
• The candidate should be willing to work under pressure.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
