Sumas Mountain Farms in Abbotsford, BC is inviting applications for the position of Kitchen helper. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. Terms of employment: Permanent employment - Part time. Work schedule: Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must portion and wrap foods.
• The candidate must use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs.
• The candidate must clean and sanitize kitchens, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
• The candidate must wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must show initiative.
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate must maintain a positive attitude.
• The candidate should be required to perform repetitive tasks frequently.
• The candidate must be willing to work in a standing position for extended periods.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
