Food and beverage service manager

Now hiring: Food and beverage service manager at Crest Hotel in Prince Rupert, BC. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time.

Job Description

• The candidate must analyze budgets to increase and maintain restaurant profits.
• The candidate must develop budgets to determine the cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen supplies, and cleaning supplies.
• The candidate must modify food preparation methods and menu prices to align with the restaurant budget.
• The candidate must determine the types of services to be offered and implement appropriate operational procedures.
• The candidate must cost products and services.
• The candidate must enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations.
• The candidate must ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
• The candidate must negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies.
• The candidate must participate in marketing plans and implementation.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• Relevant experience considered in lieu of education.
