Food and beverage processing supervisor

Golden Bonbon in New Westminster, BC is seeking a self-motivated Food and beverage processing supervisor. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. The schedule involves Overtime required, Early morning, Morning, Day, Shift, On call, Overtime available, , 07:30 to 15:30 shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must minimize hazards at all stages of the food production process.
• The candidate must train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
• The candidate must recommend personnel actions such as hiring and promotions.
• The candidate must prepare production and other reports.
• The candidate must recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
• The candidate must supervise, coordinate, and schedule (and possibly review) activities of workers.
• The candidate must establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other work units.
• The candidate must requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
