Job Description

The candidate must inspect, measure, and mark surfaces to be covered.
The candidate must read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements.
The candidate must measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding.
The candidate must measure, cut, and install carpeting on floors.
The candidate must estimate costs and materials.
The candidate must prepare floors for installations.
The candidate must employ knee kickers and other equipment to stretch carpeting.
The candidate must perform direct glue-down carpet installations.
The candidate must install outdoor carpets.
The candidate must install materials on countertops and raised platforms.

Job Requirements

The candidate must be fluent in English.
The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
