Poissonnerie du Havre Ltée. in Havre-Saint-Pierre, QC is seeking a self-motivated Fishmonger - retail. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. Position status: Seasonal employment or Full time. Flexible availability required for: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift, Flexible hours, To be determined.

Job Description

• The candidate must clean and prepare fish and shellfish.
• The candidate must cut fish into steaks and fillets.
• The candidate must prepare special orders.
• The candidate must prepare special displays of meats, poultry, and fish products.
• The candidate must shape, lace, and tie roasts, other meats, poultry, and seafood.
• The candidate must condition fish filets for wrapping or freezing.
• The candidate must clean machines and immediate work areas.
• The candidate must perform food preparation.
• The candidate must prepare and cook meals or specialty foods.
• The candidate must disjoint and remove meat from lobsters or other crustaceans preparatory to canning or further processing.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English or French.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• No experience required. The employer will provide training to the selected candidate.
• The candidate must be accurate.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate must work in an environment with a high concentration of odours.
