Phillips Bridge Seafood ULC in Borden-Carleton, PE is inviting applications for the position of Fish processing plant labourer. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. Terms of employment: Seasonal employment or Full time. The schedule involves Overtime required, Early morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must transport fish and shellfish to the designated work area.
• The candidate must weigh fish or shellfish, record weights, and pack products in ice for storage or transport.
• The candidate must clean machines and immediate work areas.
• The candidate must sort fish according to species, weight, and destination.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be able to lift more than 45 kg (100 lbs).
• The candidate should be required to perform repetitive tasks frequently.
• The candidate should be required to handle heavy loads as part of routine work.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
• The candidate must be willing to work in a standing position for extended periods.

Work Site Environment

• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
• The candidate must work in wet or damp conditions.
