Hermitage Processing Inc. Hermitage NL ( Hermitage, NL) is currently looking for a skilled Fish processing labourer. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. Position status: Seasonal employment or Full time. The schedule involves Day, Evening, Weekend, Flexible hours shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must unload fish and shellfish from vessels and transport by hand.
• The candidate must transport fish and shellfish to the designated work area.
• The candidate must weigh fish or shellfish, record weights, and pack products in ice for storage or transport.
• The candidate must clean machines and immediate work areas.
• The candidate must measure and dump ingredients into hoppers of mixing and grinding machines.
• The candidate must sort fish according to species, weight, and destination.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must be reliable.

Work Site Environment

• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
• The candidate must work in an environment with a high concentration of odours.
• The candidate must work in cold or refrigerated conditions.
• The candidate must work in wet or damp conditions.

Work Setting

• The candidate should be willing to relocate and be ready to move to a new city/different city for a job.
