Progenics Cordblood Cryobank Inc. in North York, ON is seeking a self-motivated Financial manager. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Required shifts: Day.

Job Description

• The candidate must coordinate the organization’s financial operations and budget activities to optimize financial performance.
• The candidate must direct staff.
• The candidate must plan and control budget and expenditures.
• The candidate must review budgets and financial reports for specific projects.
• The candidate must establish and implement operational policies and procedures.
• The candidate must design and manage investment strategies.
• The candidate must monitor financial control systems.
• The candidate must manage contracts.
• The candidate must oversee the collection and analysis of financial data.
• The candidate must oversee the preparation of reports.
• The candidate must advise senior management.
• The candidate must perform human resources-related duties such as personnel selection.
• The candidate must manage cash.
• The candidate must keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
• The candidate must oversee payroll administration.
• The candidate must conduct performance reviews.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree.
