Cape Breton Community Housing Association is situated in Sydney, NS and is hiring a Finance manager to join the team. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time.

Job Description

• The candidate must coordinate the organization’s financial operations and budget activities to optimize financial performance.
• The candidate must plan and control budget and expenditures.
• The candidate must review budgets and financial reports for specific projects.
• The candidate must establish and implement operational policies and procedures.
• The candidate must monitor financial control systems.
• The candidate must oversee the collection and analysis of financial data.
• The candidate must oversee the preparation of reports.
• The candidate must advise senior management.
• The candidate must manage cash.
• The candidate must keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
