Farm worker - livestock

Sumas Mountain Farms is situated in Abbotsford, BC and is hiring a Farm worker - livestock to join the team. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. This is a Permanent employment - Part time leading to full time position. Required shifts: Day, Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must handle animals.
• The candidate must monitor animal health.
• The candidate must perform livestock feeding.
• The candidate must feed and tend animals.
• The candidate must maintain accurate work records and logs.
• The candidate must perform general farm duties.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be a good team player.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in a rural area; most people live or work on farms or ranches. Hamlets, villages, towns, and other small settlements are in or surrounded by rural areas.
