Sumas Mountain Farms ( Abbotsford, BC) is currently looking for a skilled Farm worker - livestock. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. We are offering a Permanent employment - Part time leading to full time opportunity. Required shifts: Day, Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must handle animals.
• The candidate must monitor animal health.
• The candidate must perform livestock feeding.
• The candidate must feed and tend animals.
• The candidate must maintain accurate work records and logs.
• The candidate must perform general farm duties.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must have the ability to work independently.
• The candidate should be willing to work under pressure.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in various positions, including those that require sitting, standing, and walking, as well as those that involve physical activity.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in a rural area; most people live or work on farms or ranches. Hamlets, villages, towns, and other small settlements are in or surrounded by rural areas.
