Ellslea Farms Ltd. ( Kingsport, NS) is currently looking for a skilled Farm worker, fruit. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. We are offering a Seasonal employment or Full time opportunity. Flexible availability required for: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift, On call.

Job Description

• The candidate must apply the technique of hoeing between the row.
• The candidate must cut agricultural crops.
• The candidate must guide growing shoots into optimal development positions.
• The candidate must maintain and manage the growth of vines, vine canopy, and grapes.
• The candidate must plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops.
• The candidate must tie and secure plants.
• The candidate must perform weeding.
• The candidate must harvest crops.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must be a quick learner.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
• The candidate must work in wet or damp conditions.
• The candidate must work in hot conditions.
• The candidate must work in all weather conditions.
• The candidate must work in dirty environments.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in a rural area; most people live or work on farms or ranches. Hamlets, villages, towns, and other small settlements are in or surrounded by rural areas.
