Apple Springs Orchards LTD. in Clarksburg, ON is inviting applications for the position of Farm worker, fruit. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This role offers Seasonal employment or Full time employment. Shift timings include: Overtime required, Day, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must pick row and orchard crops.
• The candidate must plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops.
• The candidate must train trees to produce more fruit of higher quality.
• The candidate must perform weeding.
• The candidate must write daily basic progress reports.
• The candidate must harvest crops.
• The candidate must operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
• The candidate must examine product for quality and market readiness.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• No experience required. The employer will provide training to the selected candidate.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be a good team player.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
• The candidate must be able to work at heights.
• The candidate must work in wet or damp conditions.
• The candidate must work in an environment with a high concentration of odours.
• The candidate must be able to work in dusty conditions.
