Farm supervisor

Peels Native Plants Ltd. ( Langley, BC) is currently looking for a skilled Farm supervisor. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time.

Job Description

• The candidate must perform greenhouse cleaning.
• The candidate must shear and shape trees and plants with a knife.
• The candidate must tie and secure plants.
• The candidate must perform weeding.
• The candidate must co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers.
• The candidate must supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations.
• The candidate must maintain accurate work records and logs.
• The candidate must hire and train staff.
• The candidate must operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
• The candidate must perform general farm duties.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must have 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
