Farm supervisor

ABBYCEL SUBSTRATE LTD. ( Abbotsford, BC) is currently looking for a skilled Farm supervisor. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. Flexible availability required for: Morning, Day, Weekend, Shift, Flexible hours. The LMIA has granted approval for this role.

Job Description

• The candidate must organize tasks to accomplish the work.
• The candidate must co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers.
• The candidate must ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are strictly followed.
• The candidate must maintain quality control and production records.
• The candidate must supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations.
• The candidate must maintain accurate work records and logs.
• The candidate must hire and train staff.
• The candidate must operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
• The candidate must perform general farm duties.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• A candidate with experience is an asset.
