Job Description

  • The candidate must diagnose livestock health issues.
  • The candidate must handle animals.
  • The candidate must monitor the calving process.
  • The candidate must monitor animal health.
  • The candidate must supervise milking operations to ensure work is done correctly.
  • The candidate must treat livestock health issues.
  • The candidate must carry out pasture or pen breeding programs.
  • The candidate must ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are strictly followed.
  • The candidate must formulate feeding programs.
  • The candidate must maintain livestock performance records.
  • The candidate must maintain accurate work records and logs.
  • The candidate must perform general farm duties.
