Birch Farms Ltd. is situated in Summerside, PE and is hiring a Farm equipment operator to join the team. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Required shifts: Overtime required, Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Flexible hours, To be determined.

Job Description

• The candidate must plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops.
• The candidate must perform seed cutting.
• The candidate must harvest crops.
• The candidate must operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
• The candidate must provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying, or harvesting.
• The candidate must ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are strictly followed.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in a rural area; most people live or work on farms or ranches. Hamlets, villages, towns, and other small settlements are in or surrounded by rural areas.
