Bissell Centre in Edmonton, AB is seeking a self-motivated Family service worker. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. Shift timings include: Day.

Job Description

• The candidate must prepare reports or case histories.
• The candidate must supervise support staff.
• The candidate must perform administrative tasks.
• The candidate must conduct social research.
• The candidate must develop, co-ordinate, and implement the delivery of specific services within the community.
• The candidate must resolve conflict situations.
• The candidate must liaise with other social services agencies and health care providers involved with clients.
• The candidate must have supervisory experience.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years.
• The candidate must be accurate.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in a community agency to deliver programs, coordinate services, and support individuals and families.
