Facility operations manager

Triple Eight Transport Inc. is situated in Abbotsford, BC and is hiring a Facility operations manager to join the team. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. Shift timings include: Evening, Night, Weekend, Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must direct and control the operations of commercial facilities.
• The candidate must prepare reports and statistics related to areas of responsibility.
• The candidate must estimate costs of installing and maintaining equipment or services.
• The candidate must develop and implement schedules and procedures for safety inspections and preventive maintenance programs.
• The candidate must direct the maintenance and repair of an establishment's machinery, equipment, and electrical and mechanical systems.
• The candidate must hire and oversee the training and supervision of staff.
• The candidate must plan, organize, and direct administrative services such as signage, cleaning, maintenance, parking, safety inspections, security, and snow removal.
• The candidate must resolve product and service-related problems.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
