Freeman Lumber ( Greenfield, NS) is currently looking for a skilled Fabrication welder. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. Work schedule: Early morning, Morning, Evening, Weekend, Shift.

Job Description

• The candidate must interpret welding process specifications.
• The candidate must operate manual or semi-automatic and fully automated welding equipment.
• The candidate must examine welds to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.
• The candidate must operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment.
• The candidate must fit, braze, and torch-straighten metal.
• The candidate must determine weldability of materials.
• The candidate must operate hoisting and lifting equipment.
• The candidate must operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
• The candidate must maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.
• The candidate must have welding experience.

Work Setting

• The candidate should be willing to relocate and be ready to move to a new city/different city for a job.
