La Forge bistro-bar & Grill in Mont-Tremblant, QC is seeking a self-motivated Executive sous-chef. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. The schedule involves Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must demonstrate new cooking techniques and equipment to cooking staff.
• The candidate must instruct cooks in the preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of food.
• The candidate must supervise cooks and other kitchen staff.
• The candidate must prepare and cook meals or specialty foods.
• The candidate must train staff in the preparation, cooking, and handling of food.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in French.
• The candidate must have a College/CEGEP diploma.
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate must show initiative.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and busy environment.
• The candidate should be willing to work under pressure.
