Fairmont Tremblant is situated in Mont-Tremblant, QC and is hiring a Cook to join the team. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. Work schedule: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift, To be determined, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and food items.
• The candidate must prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
• The candidate must prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by a dietitian or chef.
• The candidate must inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure compliance with hygiene standards.
• The candidate must train staff in the preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
• The candidate must maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
• The candidate must clean kitchen and work areas.
• The candidate must organize buffets and banquets.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English or French.
• The candidate must hold a Registered Apprenticeship certificate.
• Or equivalent experience.

• The candidate should work in a rural area; most people live or work on farms or ranches. Hamlets, villages, towns, and other small settlements are in or surrounded by rural areas.
• The candidate must work from a remote location, performing their duties from a site other than the employer’s central office while maintaining productivity and communication.
• The candidate should work in a cafeteria where the employees of a company can get lunch without leaving their place of work.
• The candidate should be willing to relocate and be ready to move to a new city/different city for a job.
