Excavator operator

West Coast Shoring inc in Burnaby, BC is seeking a self-motivated Excavator operator. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. Position status: Term or contractFull time. Flexible availability required for: Early morning, Morning, Day, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to plan methods or sequences of operation.
• The candidate must operate heavy equipment.
• The candidate must read blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must have 3 to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
• The candidate must work in hot conditions.
• The candidate must work in cold or refrigerated conditions.
• The candidate must be able to work in dusty conditions.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in various locations when employees are scattered across different worksites.
