Rain Day Spa Inc. in North York, ON is seeking a self-motivated Esthetician. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. Required shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift, Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must provide body care and treatments.
• The candidate must perform permanent hair removal.
• The candidate must provide general information to customers on beauty products.
• The candidate must advise on beauty products suited to customers' coloring and skin type.
• The candidate must perform laser hair removal.
• The candidate must perform exfoliating body treatments.
• The candidate must apply make-up on customers.
• The candidate must provide scalp treatments.
• The candidate must perform facials.
• The candidate must apply glycolic acid treatments.
• The candidate must maintain and build own clientele.
• The candidate must perform skin care treatments.
• The candidate must perform skin peels.
• The candidate must perform waxing services.
• The candidate must refer clients with unusual skin conditions to physicians.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program lasting 3 months to less than 1 year.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• The candidate must be accurate.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must show initiative.

Work Setting

• The candidate should be willing to relocate and be ready to move to a new city/different city for a job.
• The candidate should work in an esthetician's salon in spas, salons, wellness clinics, and other offices to provide skin health services.
• The candidate must be able to work in a spa center.
