Job Description

• The candidate must develop all kinds of events for publicity, fundraising, and information purposes.
• The candidate must develop communication strategies.
• The candidate must develop policies.
• The candidate must evaluate communication strategies and programs for effectiveness.
• The candidate must implement communication strategies and programs.
• The candidate must oversee the preparation of public written material.
• The candidate must prepare bibliographies, indexes, reading lists, guides, and other finding aids.
• The candidate must prepare written materials, including reports, briefs, and website content.
• The candidate must produce educational, publicity, and informational materials to awaken curiosity and interest in the subject matter.
• The candidate must provide consultation on planning and starting new businesses.
• The candidate must publicize activities, workshops, meetings, and other events for fundraising or information purposes.
• The candidate must administer programs to promote industrial and commercial business investment in rural and urban areas.
• The candidate must perform administrative tasks.
• The candidate must plan development projects.
• The candidate must develop venture capital sources.
• The candidate must respond to enquiries from members of the business community concerning development opportunities.
• The candidate must provide advice on procedures and requirements for government approval of development proposals.
• The candidate must conduct surveys and analyze data on the buying habits and preferences of wholesale and retail consumers.
• The candidate must prepare and/or deliver educational, publicity, and information programs, materials, and sessions.
• The candidate must conduct analytical marketing studies.
• The candidate must review and evaluate commercial or industrial development proposals.
• The candidate must develop a portfolio of marketing materials.
• The candidate must evaluate customer service and store environments.
• The candidate must design, conduct, and analyze quantitative and qualitative research projects.
• The candidate must develop feasibility studies.
• The candidate must deliver presentations at conferences, workshops, or symposia.
• The candidate must maintain and manage digital databases.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years.
• Or equivalent experience.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in a business and industry, the setting, social aspects, and physical conditions in which an individual performs their job.
• The candidate must work in a business environment, performing duties within the setting, social interactions, and physical conditions required by the role.
• The candidate must work in a jewellery store to provide customer service, manage valuable inventory, and ensure secure and professional operations.
