Electrical mechanic

Toromont Cat ( Stoney Creek, ON) is currently looking for a skilled Electrical mechanic. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Required shifts: Day, Night, Weekend, Shift.

Job Description

• The candidate must read blueprints to determine work requirements.
• The candidate must test and observe electrical and mechanical conditions of equipment.
• The candidate must troubleshoot and repair electric motors, transformers, switchgear, generators, and other electro-mechanical equipment.
• The candidate must perform on-site servicing and repair.
• The candidate must test repaired motors, transformers, switchgear, or other electrical apparatus to ensure proper performance.
• The candidate must perform preventive maintenance.

• The candidate must hold a certificate or diploma in a related trade.
• The candidate must be accurate.
• The candidate should be client-focused.

• The candidate must be well-organized.

• The candidate must be able to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.

• The candidate must be able to work in an on-site customer service environment, such as an office or business location.
