Electrical and electronics design technologist

SPARK ENGINEERING LTD. ( Mission, BC) is currently looking for a skilled Electrical and electronics design technologist. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time.

Job Description

• The candidate must design and develop power equipment and systems.
• The candidate must interpret blueprints or other instructions to plan methods or sequences of operation.
• The candidate must read blueprints or other instructions to determine work requirements.
• The candidate must assist in design, development, and testing.
• The candidate must assist in preparing estimates, schedules, specifications, and reports.
• The candidate must write specifications.
• The candidate must assist in inspecting, testing, and adjusting electronic components.
• The candidate must design electrical and electronic components, systems and equipment.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree.
• Or equivalent experience.
• The candidate must show initiative.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must uphold values and ethics.
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate must be dedicated.
• The candidate should be willing to work under pressure.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in various positions, including those that require sitting, standing, and walking, as well as those that involve physical activity.
