Almosthome Childcare/Preschool Ltd. in Langford, BC is inviting applications for the position of Early childhood educator (ECE). Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position.

Job Description

• The candidate must develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
• The candidate must assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping accurate records.
• The candidate must encourage children to express creativity through art, dramatic play, music, and physical activities.
• The candidate must engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs, and preparing crafts.
• The candidate must guide and assist children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
• The candidate must prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.
• The candidate must plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College/CEGEP diploma.
