Drywall installer

AVI GREWAL TRADIZZ LTD. ( Edmonton, AB) is currently looking for a skilled Drywall installer. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Required shifts: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, On call, Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements.
• The candidate must cure freshly plastered surfaces.
• The candidate must cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners.
• The candidate must fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife.
• The candidate must measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets.
• The candidate must install metal stud framing and furring for interior drywall or plaster walls and ceilings using hand and power tools.
• The candidate must work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate must be able to work in dusty conditions.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in various locations when employees are scattered across different worksites.
