Dockside observer - fisheries

Atlantic Catch Data Ltd. in Meteghan, NS is seeking a self-motivated Dockside observer - fisheries. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. The schedule involves Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, On call shifts.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must be reliable.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in a rural area; most people live or work on farms or ranches. Hamlets, villages, towns, and other small settlements are in or surrounded by rural areas.
• The candidate should work in various locations when employees are scattered across different worksites.

• The candidate must have basic security clearance.
• The candidate must undergo a criminal record check.
