Director of maintenance

Hôtel Le Port Royal is situated in Québec, QC and is hiring a Director of maintenance to join the team. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. Flexible availability required for: Day, Evening, Weekend, On call, Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must direct and control construction projects.
• The candidate must direct and control the operations of commercial facilities.
• The candidate must evaluate construction projects involving modifications to commercial, transportation, or recreational facilities, as well as real estate properties.
• The candidate must evaluate the operations of facilities and included real estate.
• The candidate must plan and organize the operations of facilities and included real estate.
• The candidate must develop and implement schedules and procedures for safety inspections and preventive maintenance programs.
• The candidate must hire and oversee the training and supervision of staff.
• The candidate must oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of real estate infrastructures, including machinery, equipment, and electrical and mechanical systems.
• The candidate must plan, organize, and direct administrative services such as signage, cleaning, maintenance, parking, safety inspections, security, and snow removal.
• The candidate must troubleshoot problems related to equipment.
• The candidate must organize and maintain inventory.

• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
