Detailer - structural steel drafter

Apex Structural Design Ltd. ( Red Deer, AB) is currently looking for a skilled Detailer - structural steel drafter. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Flexible availability required for: Day, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must prepare engineering designs and drawings.
• The candidate must develop and prepare design sketches.
• The candidate must complete documentation packages and drawing sets.
• The candidate must examine drawings for conformity and errors.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College/CEGEP diploma.
• Equivalent professional experience accepted.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must have excellent written communication skills.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and busy environment.
• The candidate should be willing to work under pressure.
• The candidate must be able to meet tight deadlines.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.

Work Setting

• The candidate's relocation costs should be covered by the employer, allowing the employer to contribute to the employee's relocation costs incurred in moving closer to the company's offices or other work locations as required.
