Dental technician

B&T Dental Laboratory is situated in Surrey, BC and is hiring a Dental technician to join the team. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time.

Job Description

• The candidate must design dental devices.
• The candidate must modify dental devices including full or partial dentures, orthodontic appliances, inlays, onlays, clasps, and bands.
• The candidate must prepare plaster models and moulds.
• The candidate must maintain and order supplies.
• The candidate must finish metal framework of dentures.
• The candidate must prepare wax bite-blocks and impression trays.
• The candidate must make orthodontic bands from metal and alloys.
• The candidate must polish and buff dentures.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
