Nanaimo Denture Clinic Inc. in Nanaimo, BC is seeking a self-motivated Dental laboratory technician assistant. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Shift timings include: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening.

Job Description

• The candidate must maintain and order supplies.
• The candidate must mould wax over dentures set-up.
• The candidate must finish metal framework of dentures.
• The candidate must pack plastic material in moulds to form full or partial dentures.
• The candidate must make orthodontic bands from metal and alloys.
• The candidate must polish and buff dentures.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must be able to meet tight deadlines.
• The candidate should be required to perform repetitive tasks frequently.
• The candidate must be able to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
• The candidate must be able to distinguish between colours.
• The candidate must have excellent hand-eye coordination.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in a denturist's practice delivering denture care and related services.
