Dental assistant

Markham Woodbine Dental in Markham, ON is inviting applications for the position of Dental assistant. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. Required shifts: Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must prepare patients for dental examinations.
• The candidate must prepare dental instruments and filling materials.
• The candidate must sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment.
• The candidate must perform intra-oral duties.
• The candidate must take and develop X-rays.
• The candidate must record dental procedures performed on patients.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years.
• Or equivalent experience.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in a dental practice to assist with patient care, support dental procedures, manage records, and ensure smooth daily operations.
