Delivery drivers supervisor

FUTUREGATE COURIERS LTD. in Penticton, BC is seeking a self-motivated Delivery drivers supervisor. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Flexible availability required for: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift, On call, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must recommend measures to improve work methods.
• The candidate must supervise workers and oversee projects.
• The candidate must train or arrange for training of staff.
• The candidate must coordinate and schedule activities effectively.
• The candidate must ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
• The candidate must requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be a good team player.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in dispatching to coordinate vehicle or personnel movements, manage schedules, and ensure timely and efficient operations.

Transportation/travel information

• The candidate must have a valid driver’s licence.
