Delivery driver

CINT INTERNATIONAL TRADE INC is situated in London, ON and is hiring a Delivery driver to join the team. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. Flexible availability required for: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, On call, Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand.
• The candidate must operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver items and products.
• The candidate must receive and relay information to central dispatch.
• The candidate must keep a record of items received and delivered.
• The candidate must load and unload goods efficiently.
• The candidate must sort packages for delivery.
• The candidate must follow directions and read maps.
• The candidate must record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems.
• The candidate must perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of vehicle operation.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must have good judgement skills.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
