Now hiring: Delivery driver at Independent Security Services Atlantic Inc in Halifax, NS. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Work schedule: Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand.
• The candidate must operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver items and products.
• The candidate must demonstrate professionalism in customer service.
• The candidate must receive and relay information to central dispatch.
• The candidate must load and unload goods efficiently.
• The candidate must follow directions and read maps.
• The candidate must use maps and other trip planning aids.
• The candidate must record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems.
• The candidate must perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of vehicle operation.

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
