G.P. SPEEDY DELIVERY HOTSHOT SERVICE LTD. ( Grande Prairie, AB) is currently looking for a skilled Delivery driver. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity.

Job Description

• The candidate must deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand.
• The candidate must operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver items and products.
• The candidate must demonstrate professionalism in customer service.
• The candidate must receive and relay information to central dispatch.
• The candidate must keep a record of items received and delivered.
• The candidate must prepare, package, and restock goods.
• The candidate must load and unload goods efficiently.
• The candidate must sort packages for delivery.
• The candidate must follow directions and read maps.
• The candidate must use maps and other trip planning aids.
• The candidate must record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems.
• The candidate must perform administrative tasks.
• The candidate must pay and receive payments for goods.
• The candidate must provide exceptional customer service.
• The candidate must perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of vehicle operation.
• The candidate must handle, recover, and store refrigerants.
• The candidate must initiate and maintain confidential medical files and records.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must be able to lift more than 45 kg (100 lbs).
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must have good judgement skills.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must be accurate.
• The candidate must be punctual.
• The candidate must have strong time management skills.
