B-Line Alberta LTD ( Sherwood Park, AB) is currently looking for a skilled Truck driver. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time.

Job Description

• The candidate must load and unload goods efficiently.
• The candidate must operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials safely.
• The candidate must oversee the condition of vehicles and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
• The candidate must pay and receive payments for goods.
• The candidate must perform brake adjustments.
• The candidate must perform emergency roadside repairs.
• The candidate must perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of vehicle operation.
• The candidate must perform preventive maintenance.
• The candidate must record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption.
• The candidate must tarp and ensure the safety and security of cargo.
• The candidate must secure special attachments to equipment.
• The candidate must secure and release safety belts and bars.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must be able to lift more than 45 kg (100 lbs).
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
• The candidate should be required to handle heavy loads as part of routine work.
• The candidate must be able to handle a large workload.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
