Job Description

• The candidate must develop and maintain computer databases.
• The candidate must document customers’ requirements for projects.
• The candidate must document reporting needs, queries, logic, results, and recommendations to other information systems professionals.
• The candidate must enact measures to ensure unauthorized users cannot access data.
• The candidate must provide advice to other informatics professionals regarding database management tools.
• The candidate must test data models and database management systems.
• The candidate must design and develop databases.
• The candidate must operate database management systems to analyze data.
• The candidate must develop and implement data administration policies, standards, and models.
• The candidate must research and document data requirements, data collection, administration policy, and data access rules.
• The candidate must develop policies and procedures for network access, usage, and backup and recovery of data.
• The candidate must write scripts for stored procedures and database triggers.

• The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree.
