Customer service cashier

All-Star Liquor is situated in Airdrie, AB and is hiring a Customer service cashier to join the team. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. We are offering a Permanent employment - Part time leading to full time opportunity. Work schedule: Night, Weekend, Shift, On call, , 17:00 to 00:00.

Job Description

• The candidate must operate the cash register accurately.
• The candidate must process money, cheques, and credit/debit card payments.
• The candidate must scan items.
• The candidate must receive payment for goods or services.
• The candidate must calculate daily/shift payments received and reconcile with total sales.
• The candidate must stock shelves and clean counter areas.
• The candidate must greet customers.
• The candidate must accept reservations or take-out orders.
• The candidate must assist customers with self-checkout.
• The candidate must calculate foreign currency exchange.
• The candidate must verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products.
