Now hiring: Custodian at Neptune Theatre in Halifax, NS. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. The schedule involves Early morning, Morning, Day, Weekend, Shift shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs.
• The candidate must operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and refuse.
• The candidate must empty trash cans and other waste containers.
• The candidate must move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies.
• The candidate must clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures.
• The candidate must clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• Or equivalent experience.
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate must be reliable.
