Crane operator

National Crane Inc. ( Abbotsford, BC) is currently looking for a skilled Crane operator. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. The schedule involves Early morning, Morning, Day, Night, Weekend, Overtime available shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must operate mobile and tower cranes to lift, move, position, or place equipment and materials.
• The candidate must clean and lubricate cranes.
• The candidate must operate pile driving cranes to drive pilings into the earth to provide support for buildings and other structures.
• The candidate must operate cranes equipped with dredging attachments to dredge waterways and other areas.
• The candidate must assemble tower cranes on site.
• The candidate must operate bridge or overhead cranes to lift, move, and place plant machinery and materials.
• The candidate must operate offshore oil rig cranes to unload and reload supply vessels.
• The candidate must operate cranes mounted on boats or barges to lift, move, and place equipment and materials.
• The candidate must perform routine maintenance work.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• Or equivalent experience.
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate should be willing to work under pressure.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
• The candidate must be able to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
• The candidate must have excellent hand-eye coordination.
• The candidate should be willing to work for long hours in sitting positions.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate must be able to work in dusty conditions.
