Aramark Canada Ltd. in Woodstock, ON is seeking a self-motivated Cook. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Flexible availability required for: Morning, Day, Evening, Shift, Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must plan menus and estimate food requirements for preparation.
• The candidate must requisition food and kitchen supplies as needed.
• The candidate must prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and food items.
• The candidate must prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
• The candidate must inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure compliance with hygiene standards.
• The candidate must train staff in the preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
• The candidate must supervise kitchen staff and helpers.
• The candidate must clean kitchen and work areas.
• The candidate must cook meals as required.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation or equivalent experience.
• The ideal candidate must have more than 5 years of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must have strong time management skills.
