Bar Oso in Whistler, BC is inviting applications for the position of Cook. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. Work schedule: Morning, Day, Evening, Night.

Job Description

• The candidate must prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and food items.
• The candidate must clean kitchen and work areas.
• The candidate must have food safety and handling skills.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a certificate or diploma in a related trade.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must have strong time management skills.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in restaurants that are generally fast-paced and require the utmost efficiency.
• The candidate should work in a bar to prepare and serve drinks to customers in liquor-licensed premises such as bars, nightclubs, hotels, and restaurants.
