Cook's helper

Café Bistro Découvertes is situated in Saint-Eustache, QC and is hiring a Cook's helper to join the team. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. The schedule involves Day, , 07:00 to 15:00 shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
• The candidate must operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware.
• The candidate must place dishes in storage areas.
• The candidate must replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas.
• The candidate must sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand.
• The candidate must scour pots and pans.
• The candidate must portion and wrap foods.
• The candidate must prepare, heat, and finish simple food items.
• The candidate must serve customers at counters or buffet tables.
• The candidate must use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs.
• The candidate must clean and sanitize kitchens, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
• The candidate must receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
• The candidate must remove kitchen garbage and trash.
• The candidate must wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit.
• The candidate must have food safety and handling skills.

• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
