Boston Pizza Restaurant ( Rocky View, AB) is currently looking for a skilled Cook. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. The schedule involves Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift, On call shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must determine appropriate food portion sizes and associated costs.
• The candidate must plan menus and estimate food requirements for preparation.
• The candidate must requisition food and kitchen supplies as needed.
• The candidate must prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and food items.
• The candidate must prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by a dietitian or chef.
• The candidate must inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure compliance with hygiene standards.
• The candidate must train staff in the preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
• The candidate must order supplies and equipment.
• The candidate must supervise kitchen staff and helpers.
• The candidate must maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must have 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in restaurants that are generally fast-paced and require the utmost efficiency.
